Words without actions are meaningless. Beyond Words means providing fresh water, food, medical supplies, educational tools, school funds, hugs and hope.

Crossing Boundaries, Inc. is working to improve the quality of life for families, orphans, street kids, and women and to educate pastors and emerging leaders to help their people live a Christ-like life.

About Our Water Wells

And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded. Matthew 10:24

Can you imagine carrying 25 pounds or more of water for 100 feet? 2 miles? 6 miles?

The women and children of the Maasai tribe of Kurum, other villages such as Baringo and Samburi, children’s facilities such as Precious Kids and Joy Divine, and several schools around Kitale had been carrying water long distances in containers on their heads, by hand, or on their backs, some for generations. All the water for cooking, cleaning, bathing comes from whatever they can carry.

On ten occasions in the past eight years we have been privileged to visit and see fresh water coming from wells we have been instrumental in creating. Thanks to the combined efforts of Clarence Matheny Ministries, numerous generous contributors, and Crossing Boundaries, thousands of people and generations to come are blessed by the gift of fresh water -close to their homes.

CBI is now providing and raising funds for more fresh water wells throughout Kenya. Donations in any amount can impact thousands of people.

How can you Help?

Crossing Boundaries wants to partner with YOU to build new wells throughout Kenya. The need is enormous – millions of people need fresh water to survive.

You have the opportunity to provide life-giving water both in the natural and the spiritual as you contribute to these efforts. Each water well costs about $15,000–$50,000 to build depending on the depth, remoteness, and complexity of the pump and delivery system.

HOW CAN YOU HELP? In addition to wells, you can also provide clean water to schools by funding a water tank. Each tank costs just $700 and makes a tremendous difference for hundreds of children, ensuring they have safe drinking water every day. These tanks are vital for schools in rural areas where wells may be too far away, giving students reliable access to water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation.
